MJH Mechanical successfully completed a full mechanical infrastructure renovation of 550 5th Avenue, a 45,000 Square foot commercial office building on 45th Street and 5th Avenue in NYC. MJH installed new hot water heating risers and condenser water rises from the basement level to the 12th floor throughout the building. The equipment installed included the installation of two (2) emergency generators and all ancillary equipment (fuel pumps, fuel lines, controls systems, etc.), two (2) 350-ton Evapco cooling towers, two (2) new 350-ton plate and frame heat exchangers, two (2) new condenser water and two (2) new cooling tower water pumps.
A non-proprietary, open protocol state of the art BAS was designed and installed by MJH as well. Utilizing the flexibility of Tridium based systems and the power of the Niagara network all of the equipment installed is monitored and controlled by the BAS and ensures the building owner that all of the equipment installed is operating as designed and as energy efficient as possible.
